Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 08/16/2022

Number: 4

I have spotted monarch adults nearly every day in the past week, but not reported them. All singly, all in lawn or hayfield, and within a mile of my site.
Did not report a larva I saw feeding on milkweed in my garden, either.

Today, however, the first spotting was a chrysalis on one of my gladioli, and then, three larvae; one munching away on milkweed in the garden, two that apparently preferred the flat Italian parsley!
