For the second day in a row, while checking on the chrysalis that formed on the clematis above the milkweed, I saw an adult monarch. This one flew to the ground and went through what appeared to be a "wing drying dance" on the ground before it flew away. I took a video of it. The next morning, 17 August 2022, the chrysalis that you see in this photo, started to clear. I will post a photo.
