We observed the monarch lay her egg on our pink swamp weed plants. We are finding approximately two recently hatched cats in various stages daily The numbers have increased during and following days of the Blitz week. Prior to that, finding caterpillars was random. We have planted five varieties of weed in four gardens to insure all monarchs are fed if they choose to stop.
