We see at least one every 5-10 minutes. This frequency has been occurring for approximately two weeks. There are a variety of species and sizes. However, most are male ruby throated. Surprisingly, They are aggressive and fight to defend the feeder, which is the most popular source. They also feed upon our blue brawalias, orange gladiolas, black knight butterfly bushes, and blue salvias.
