Six full days as of this evening, no monarchs observed (no adults, larva, or eggs). Last adult was observed 12th August.

Four warm and dry full days from Monday 15th to Thursday 18th Aug, daytime high temps around 80F, nighttime lows around 60F.

The numbers have been very low, despite excellent conditions and food availability on about six acres of milkweeds and wildflowers, and it seems bleak compared to past seasons this time of year seeing at least one adult monarch every time simply looking around at any moment.
