I saw one butterfly flitting around the common milkweed in my garden last week. Then I started looking for eggs and larvae. I found four cats on 08/14 and one on 08/15. I brought them in to grow and mature in my butterfly cages on my screen porch. I have not seen any butterflies or found any more cats since the August 15th. This is the first time I have seen a butterfly or a caterpillar since the first three weeks of July, when I successfully raised and released ten butterflies.
