4pm Arrived at Point Pelee National Park. 22°c which was daytime high. Cloudy. After alot of rain, humidity is 94%. Light SW wind @ 5/11kmh.
4:21 at Visitor Center waiting for shuttle to Tip. Plenty of Goldenrod & Woodland Sunflowers in bloom. No Monarchs seen.
5pm arrived at Tip. Searched entire Tip area. No monarchs til 5:22 the 1st monarch seen, flew in from the north, flew past the Tip Tower base to Goldenrod/Woodland Sunflowers meadow & chose a Woodland Sunflower to nectar on for a few minutes. Pristine male. Flitted to another sunflower & shortly afterward flitted to the south toward the very Tip.
More rain expected.
5:50 pm Left Tip area.
6:20 left Park.
