This summer's moderate to severe drought has increased the Ruby hummingbird numbers visiting our gardens, they're examining every blossom including silk flower wreaths.
The gartenmeister fuchsias remain their daily favorite, followed by cardinal flowers, agastache, salvias, morning glories, petunias, tobacco plants, butterfly bush, hibiscus, hostas and snapdragons. It's been a difficult summer for them in this area.
