It's prime time for us here in Michigan. The juvies are growing rapidly and gaining in curiosity and speed. We see lots of flight practice and play as well as the traditional dominance and agression of the adult males.
This juvenile ruby-throated hummingbird is sipping on rockin' fuchsia salvia. It is second choice to the purple.
