As of yesterday I had seen only one adult Monarch a day for the past week at Chisholm Creek Park in Wichita. This morning between around 10AM to 11AM I observed at least 15 adults and perhaps up to 20. One adult was flitting around some Common Milkweed. One was nectaring on a thistle. All the rest of them were nectaring on Swamp Milkweed. On my drive home I observed two other adult Monarchs flying through the NE part of Wichita.
