I went to see if I would observe monarchs on a NW Wind along the Lake Huron shoreline at Harrisville State Park. No monarchs were seen from 10 AM to Noon when the Wind turned from the east. I decided to look over 4 other locations that had no monarchs yesterday between 1 PM and 3 PM but saw no monarchs. I went home and counted 3 monarchs from 3:05 PM to 7:15 PM in my Joe-pye-weed garden. One was a male and the other 2 were females. Weather was mostly sunny with the Temperature topping out at 82F.
