I stayed home today because it was cloudy with a hint of rain coming and I observed one male and one female monarch in my Joe-pye-weed flower garden at 2:45 PM. They nectared until it rained at 4:35 PM before they left the garden. One went into a birch tree with the other flying high into a red maple tree. The Wind was NE-10 before it became calm with the Temperature topping out at 72F.
