All sub adult males, and adult
male rubythroats hid out yesterday when tree trimmers came to next door neighbor's giant oak tree trim until 3 p.m.
Then it got 100 heat index yesterday. They all hid out again.
At 6:45 a.m. one was sitting on Fiery yellow/red Hamelia twig. Where perky pet feeder is hung in kitchen windoww, east house side and barely light.
8 a.m. all 4 nectared on various salvias. Justicia, Red Shrimp Plant 'Red Pinecone' Purple, 3 porterweed
varieties. Then the ruckus chasing started at 9 a.m.
When one gets mad they all get mad. The madest one chases a Wren out every morning.
All 4 seem to be happy with Hamelia varieties, salvia flowers, not feeders.
