adult and recent fledgling eagles perched in the favorite cottonwood. however, not on the favorite branch and so not so easy to frame a good image to load here at JN. even so the fledgling is not shown to its best advantage behind leaves and branches.

we have heard reports from other birders recent years of sightings of juvenile eagles here at this tree and apparently from a nearby nest, but this is our first confirmation of successful nesting on lower Water St.
