Two larvae on one young short showy milkweed sprout. 9:12 am. 70’s, sunny, low wind.
I guess a 1st and 2nd instar from eggs laid 4-5 days earlier.

Eggs were laid on this sprout 7 &8 days earlier, too, so I guess these could be from those events. 4 days ago I found four eggs on this sprout.
I just see two larvae today.
By 6:30 pm the older larva had moved to the adjacent sprout.

I could not find larvae on these sprouts two days later.
