Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 08/27/2022

Number: 1

There was a male on the feeder a couple times on 8/27. Likely passing through as the resident males left on 8/19 and 8/22. The sugar water consumption is decreasing gradually this year compared to the abrupt change in prior years. There are still 10-15 likely juveniles here and in the evenings there is much more activity and fighting. Migrating birds just stopping by to fill the tank before moving on?
