11:30 near Gould City, observed one adult monarch flying northward across highway US-2 and safely make it across despite traffic. This was the only monarch observed all day long on over 220 miles of driving and park visits from Blaney Park to St. Ignace, then through the Straits of Mackinac to Cheboygan and back.
