I've been monitoring a chrysalis. I think I had reported it to JN. Today I was able to witness the monarch butterfly soon after it emerged. Very exciting. After a couple hours, and a brief rainstorm, it finally flew away. This was at Silva Creek Botanical Garden in Silver City, NM.
