This morning around 10:30 a fairly large monarch lit on the milkweed and stayed for some time in the yard continually returning to the milkweed. Later around 4:00 PM there was another monarch in the front yard that flew over the fence to the garden in back.
I also saw what I believe was a Anise Swallowtail. Very large with black and yellow coloring. It spent quite a bit of time in and out of the tangerine. Odd, there are no flowers at this time.
