Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/29/2022

Number: 1

I live about five minutes from here and usually I will see monarch caterpillars eating the milkweed are planted in my yard but I haven’t seen any this year nor have I seen any monarchs yet in my yard which makes me sad. Last year I had two or three fat caterpillars and then they just disappeared so I’d like to think that they went somewhere to hibernate. They were fat! And usually I’ll see some monarch butterflies because I plant a lot of flowers with them and a lot of milkweed. Not many butterflies this year I think all the mosquito spraying is very bad for them
