Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/30/2022

Number: 9

Observing my same milkweed garden in my front yard - I spied 9 monarch caterpillars this morning. They are big (~25mm) and plumper - probably 4th instar? Very busy eating. Moving around the plants more. Yesterday they ate the flowers - today they are eating the pods. This is very exciting!!
