Upon opening Tip gate to drive down, observed a monarch flitting about tree tips above Tip gate area.
3 monarchs seen flitting about above Goldenrod & Woodland Sunflowers along roadside at Sparrow Field. Others nectaring on Woodland sunflowers at base of Tip tower. Mostly males & finally 1 female. All in good condition.
I have yet to see them on the Goldenrod.
Did see 2 on east side at Tip fighting the west wind that was cutting right through the trees. The were fighting the wind to get to the trees which they did.
