Hummingbird Sighting

This picture was taken on Aug 31st, this Wednesday morning at 7:35am.

My little hummingbirds love this tiny little feeder. I love it because it only takes about 3 tablespoons of sugar water to fill up and it's plastic so it doesn't get so hot, the sugar water doesn't get to a boiling point like it does in the glass feeders. I will put out a fresh feeder in the mornings and then around 2pm, I'll put out a fresh feeder with fresh sugar water. Of course if you're feeding lots of hummers these little feeders won't do the job.

I'm still seeing two hummingbirds. They make stops at the Turks Cap Flowers (their favorite) and the dark red Penta's and this morning at the Rose Mallow flower...there is only one flower on the Rose Mallow and it was at it for a bit.

When they're not at the feeder or flowers, they sit up in the Oak tree in my backyard and in the Bald Cypress Trees next to my backyard and up on the power lines above the Turks Cap Flowers.

This morning it was 76 degrees and expected high to be 88 degrees. It's cloudy out with a 40 percent chance of rain.
