Point Pelee National Park Tip
6:30-8pm 24°c, Sunny & humid with very light SSE wind @ 8kmh. Daytime high 25c. Overnight low 19c.

Sunset 8:03. A dozen monarchs seen this evening all at 7:30-8pm around the Tip tower & shuttle stop area. They flew in from the north & northwest & settled on Hackberry trees & vines 10-15'high. One was seen getting a quick sip from a Woodland sunflower before continuing south. All looked in good condition. Mostly males. It was reported to me that a few were seen flying off the Tip out over Lake Erie. It was a perfect day for them to continue their journey south.
