Only see 2 this a.m. chased a bit. One came into potted patio plants, nectaring on red porterweed, pine cone shrimp plant. Saw one on west side go to feeder. Last night more were here protecting feeders. They are still sub adult males like in photo.

Adult male must have checked out.


My sister in Flynn is seeing same thing I do. They stay up in trees a lot. Has feeder out.

My brother in Katy sees them flying around in his backyard also. He has feeders out.

No Rufous for us yet like this time last year.
