Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/01/2022

Number: 5

Nectaring by male and female ruby throated hummers picked up this evening after a lull on Wednesday after most of the local hummers left on Tuesday.
Looks like there are two new arrivals. A gorgeous adult male and a new female RTHB. It's possible there are more than 5 but that was all I could count in a short time. Hummers quit feeding at 8:02 pm CDT. RTHBs are maximizing evening light to get that last drop of nectar before going to roost.
