Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/02/2022

Number: 8

While transplanting a rosebush from the old family homestead before demolition started, we spotted five Monarchs, resting on the ground and getting moisture from the soil, resting on a leaf in a tree, two flew by as though they had places to be and people to see, one almost flew into my husband's face, and the others were spotted as we were planting the rosebush on our lot up the street, also in a hurry to get somewhere. This was a bonanza of a day!
