One adult monarch flying (across) Loudoun County, VA road (at stop light intersection.
Driver in car in front of mine at stop light, waved as if signaling (to me in car behind his) at seeing the Monarch - flying JUST above car heights.
Have noticed in previous years, flying in later Sept. and Oct, Monarch Butterflies just above vehicles on various (busy) roads in Loudoun County, northern Virginia.
