Although today's weather looks more like October, with an average of 12°C, with clouds and mist, we are still spotting females. Our last male sighting dates to last week. We have been swarmed by hornets for the past three weeks, making feeding on the feeders and container plants very, very, difficult. With the chill, it has been a blessing for the hummingbirds.
