It surprised the heck out of us, but we "trapped" a Rufous hummer in our garage this morning. Our feeder was taken down last week, so this "straggler" was attracted by my red car parked in the open garage that has windows opposite the opening. We get them all the time there, so we typically leave the door down. This was incredible. We've NEVER sighted a hummer this late in the season on our property.
