Sightings report image

Date: 09/03/2022

Number: 4

Juvenile ruby-throated hummingbird sipping on the tithonia (Mexican sunflower). This plant is favored by many birds and butterflies. I keep the deer away from it by spraying repellent on it.

It grows like a weed in the summer heat and is currently over 6 feet tall.

We still have at least one adult male and 4 juveniles who feed in the gardens.
