This adult male Ruby hummingbird has found his favorite perch. Just so happens to be right out my patio glass door. I find it interesting he faces the door. I am wondering if the door acts like a mirror for him to see any approaching hummingbirds. If he thinks he is guarding the feeder right under him he is falling down on the job. Sometimes there is another adult male right under him. This was taken this morning the lighting hits him just right to show off his beautiful color.
