Noticed monarchs shortly after noon. Counted 73 monarchs heading south between 12:15 p.m.-1 p.m.
Gentle breeze. partial cloud cover. Some very high in sky, appearing almost as specks. Most floating on the wind current barely needing to flap their wings. A handful stopped on garden flowers. Quit watching after 1 p.m. after a 15 minute lull with no more sightings after sky cleared.
