Monarch, Captive-Reared
Sightings report image

Date: 09/13/2022

Number: 30

There were fewer adult Monarchs in my garden this summer. Those who stayed to lay eggs were the ones I raised. The most eggs I collected were late July and August. I released 30 so far. There are five more chrysalises to go. The last two just pupated today. I usually release 80 in a summer. This is less than half of what I usually raise and release.
