Weekly report for Chisholm Creek Park in Wichita 9/12 thru 9/15/ 2022. I walk this park daily typically checking for Monarchs roosts at dawn and then for adult Monarchs around 930 to 1100 am each morning. I have seen no roosts. On Monday the 12th I saw 6-10 adults nectaring on Sunflower. Tuesday I saw none. Wednesday and today (Thursday) I saw one small adult male.
Based on my recall from previous years the main push here has been approximately Sept. 20 to early October.
