The county of Manitowoc, Wi, has been mowing ALL COUNTY ditches from the roadsides up to the fields edges for the past few weeks. I found a one inch caterpillar on milkweed about two feet into my yard where they did not mow. It is now feeding on milkweed closer to my house so the county workers should not be able to disturb it there.
