Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 09/15/2022

Number: 1

The second of our two resident adult males left yesterday morning, the 14th. Our first resident adult male, the alpha, left the morning of the 9th. A resident juvenile male left the morning of the 8th. We already miss them and pray they have safe and pleasant travels south. We still have many females and juveniles here working hard to put on weight, but we know they will all be leaving within the next couple of weeks. Last year, our last two juveniles, one male and one female, left on October 8th. We're definitely experiencing great travel weather for them now, with pleasant temps, fair skies, and a gentle wind pushing to the SW at 8-10mph.
