Hummers started their day @ 7:17 AM. I was greeted by one of the smallest migrators I've ever seen in the south habitat visiting zinnias, salvia and lantanas as she soared between flowers and pine tree tops.
This afternoon "The Girls" are enjoying 77 degrees and the floral banquets. They're busier than usual this afternoon, going from flower to flower almost non stop.
We're not seeing much perching, preening nor feeding from feeders.
Preferred flowers today: salvias, lantanas, petunias, impatients, nasturtiums, butterfly bushes, and clematis ragouchi.
