Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 09/16/2022

Number: 65

A beautiful busy butterfly day! We had a mostly sunny day with a humidex high of 31C. Monarchs would fly in from the north of our property in small groups. Most of them didn't stay long at all. I noticed when one of the group flew off, the others followed it right away. They always headed out in a southwest direction. We still had a few on butterfly bushes at 7:00 p:m. Waystation #13039
