Arrived at location around 6:30 PM. Monarchs were coming in from hay fields nearby. Hay fields contained blooming clover and likely alfalfa. Temperature in the mid 70's with calm winds. By 7:30 PM most were settled in for the evening.
Trees selected were mainly maple and birch. Monarchs favored lower branches on the west sides of the trees. Count was around 700-750 but likely a little higher.
