Monarch was sighted around the Southwick, MA Big Y World Class Supermarket. It was flying around the floral displays outside the store entrance. I noted the markings to be sure it was a true monarch and not the similar looking Viceroy butterfly. I also noted the flight pattern which was more of a flap, flap, glide motion. This was my second day seeing it there and I attempted to take a photo of it but wasn’t able to get my camera to work on my phone.
