Photo shows a monarch tagged today enjoying a palm leaf mist flower. Netted 8; tagged 6 monarchs from 4:45-5:45. About 7:30, it seemed a bunch more monarchs arrived. Very active flittering between zinnias, lantana, sunflowers and mist flowers. A gee roosting in pecan trees; most still active at 8pm.
Breezy, mild temps.
