-Roost formation: The earliest I know of a siting is Sept. 6th
-Nearby nectar sources: A meadow with goldenrod and a cornfield.
-Overnight temperatures and wind direction: 60’s overnight. Wind from the west/northwest
-Tree species monarchs were roosting on and whether shielded from wind: Maple and they were protected.
-How estimated quantity: There were several groups and taking a sample count plus seeing the size of the area they covered.
-Observation time: 40 minutes
