Point Pelee National Park at the Tip 5:50-8pm Sunset 7:36
26°c, sunny with southerly wind @12/15kmh.
Daytime high 26c
Overnight low 20c
Driving down to Tip observed at Sparrow Field 8 monarchs nectaring on Woodland sunflowers & another flitting about the trees.
At Tip shuttle stop no clusters seen but a few monarchs flying around the area.
6:30-Further south at Tip interior trees observed some clusters already being established on mulberry & hackberry trees, bare branches & vines from 8'- 25' up.
By 7:15 clusters were pretty much established with numerous 1's, 2's, 3's, 10's,15's etc up to largest of 30.
A mated pair was seen.
7:20 back up at Tip shuttle stop small clusters were being established on hackberry trees & vines at 10'- 25' under tree canopy in sheltered areas.
All appeared pristine.
