One by one, I found 15 chrysalises over the course of a couple days in late August. This one was one of four that eclosed in a 1hr period on Sept 13th.

Those who say, "Don't turn your back, you'll miss it!" are 100% correct, lol. But, we caught the 4th one on camera *just* as it was eclosing. So wonderful.
