Sightings report image

Date: 09/18/2022

Number: 6

Cloudy skies, 81 degrees, 79% humidity, with brief sprinkles, wind S 3 mph, 1:50pm.

The original forecast called for a very windy, sunny with hot temps around 95, it appears a stalled front may have altered todays weather.

I have noticed over the years that when monarchs feed on the Mexican Sunflower that they are intensely focused on eating allowing some very close-up pics.

All of our guest today seem to have vibrant colors and appear healthy.

Our peak migration is about a week away and typically lasts until Oct 1.
