Sightings report image

Date: 09/19/2022

Number: 5

75 degrees this afternoon. Hummers have been enjoying floral banquets: salvias, lantanas, petunias, clematis ragouchi, nasturtiums, butterfly bushes, coral bells, pink turtle heads, impatients, dicenteia luxuriant, jewelweed, obedient plants and hibiscus.

Slight breeze, low humidity, a perfect "it's almost fall" day.

Hummingbird guests are focused on flowers.

Feeders receive only an occasional polite look :)

Flowers = preferred source of nectar.

Happy late season everyone.
