The hummingbird welcomed me home from a recent 5 day trip by coming up to me and hovering about 4 feet in front of me as I sat on my deck by the feeder. He also came up to my window twice since then and looked in at me each time for about 30 seconds. I am going to miss my friendly hummingbird when he goes south
