I should be reporting my hummingbird observations as well as monarchs. For the past month we have had female/immature ruby throats at our feeder. Never see more than 2 at once; usually one is chasing another away from the feeder. Yesterday and today the birds have really been stoking up - I timed them on the feeder. One spent 3 minutes on the feeder, drinking for 15 seconds, taking a break, going in for another 20 seconds, etc. several visits have included 15 - 20 second head down stints.
