Seeing a slow steady migration south west along the dune of Jerusalem and East Matunuck State Beach in Rhode Island. Saw about 5 in the space of 3 minutes then nothing then a few solo ones going by. They don’t appear to be stopping to feed. This is not like the 1,000’s I saw going by all day long in a continuous stream last year on September 15. Have been noticing in general the last few days an uptick in the number of monarchs I am seeing. I am hoping to see the mass migration I saw last year as it was truly incredible. Will also remember to take picture this time.
